Impregnated activated carbon is widely used for water sterilization and for the removal of organic gases and vapors from air or other gas streams, including hydrogen sulfide, H2S, HCN, phosphine, and arsine, among others.

EMAIL

Impregnated Activated carbon is carefully chosen from high-quality activated carbon with excellent adsorption properties. It is then impregnated with silver, copper oxide, phosphoric acid, KOH, NaOH, or other agents, and subjected to refining through 130°-180° cremation. The resulting product is highly effective for water sterilization and removal of organic gases and vapours from air or other gas streams, such as hydrogen sulfide, H2S, HCN, phosphine, and arsine. Impregnated activated carbon finds widespread application in these areas and beyond.

Advantages

Impregnated activated carbon is an effective solution for adsorbing gases and vapours that standard activated carbon is unable to adsorb or adsorbs very little. These substances are typically low-molecular and polar, with low concentration and toxic effects. Impregnated activated carbon achieves removal of these harmful substances from the air through a complex chemical reaction between the impregnating agent and the harmful substance, resulting in chemical adsorption. In this process, harmful gases are chemically bonded to the impregnating agent in activated carbon, leading to their effective removal.
